The RNVG maintains the familiarity of the AN/PVS-14 controls, with the same type of power switch, and the same optics, allowing the device to turn on, off, and allowing the use of one IR Illuminator output as well as the same focusing method on the RNVG as the AN/PVS-14 standard. Additionally, the RNVG maintains the same distance between the dovetail and bridge interfaces to allow for optimal ocular alignment with a variety of helmets, mounts and individual facial features. This unit is powered via one (1) CR123 battery or additional power pack. RNVG is the lightest, most durable and most cost-effective NVG on the market today.
